International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD, Kathmandu (Nepal) signed a letter of intent with BSDMA towards establishing cooperation to reduce disaster risk in the Kosi river basin. BSDMA and ICIMOD share a growing concern to improve disaster preparedness and risk reduction in the context of climate change impacts in the Himalayan river basins in the general and Kosi River Basin in particular.
